A tube steel bent stringer terminates with a three-eighths-inch end cap plate welded full penetration to the tube. The stringer end plate attaches to a four-by-four-by-five-eighths-inch angle support, zero feet five inches long, featuring a three-eighths-inch gusset at the centerline. A one-quarter-inch fillet weld secures the angle support to the supporting steel beam on three sides. A three-eighths-inch stiffener plate is welded at the centerline of the stringer to the beam with a one-quarter-inch fillet weld. The assembly ties into a floor system comprising lightweight concrete topping over plywood over a metal deck.
