An L4x3x1/4 long-leg vertical angle connects to the beam flange using a 4-8 weld designation. An L3x3x1/4 angle connects back-to-back to the vertical leg using 2-8 welds on both sides. A shear stud or anchor bolt ties into the horizontal leg assembly. Dimensions indicate a varying offset up to three inches maximum, with minimum clearances of one-half inch and one and one-half inches.
