A three-quarter-inch by ten-inch by ten-inch steel plate is embedded at the top of the concrete slab. The plate is anchored using four three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch welded studs spaced at an eight-inch gauge. A fillet weld secures the assembly at the top of the slab level.
