A cast-in floor box block-out occurs within a slab-on-grade. A recessed concrete trough matches the slab thickness with a maximum depth of 1'-0", reinforced with continuous number 5 rebars at the mid-height of the wall and standard ninety-degree hooks typically. Slab-on-grade reinforcement continues through the assembly, matched to the main slab specifications. Access floor tiles are provided as required per architectural drawings, supported by edge angles and embedded anchors.
