A collector plate connects across the column line with a bolted shear tab and a five-sixteenth-inch typical fillet weld to the structural steel column. The framing beam connects to the column flange using a one-and-one-half-inch thick tab plate and high-strength bolts sized per reference detail 1B/s-522. Additional collector plate connections to the column are detailed per reference 2/s-816 at Level 2 top of steel.
