The depressed slab condition shows a concrete slab thickness as sized per plan transitioning to a depressed portion with a depth up to twelve inches maximum, reinforced by two continuous number four bars unless noted otherwise. The non-bearing slab edge detail features a thickened edge with a minimum width of eight inches and a depth verified with the soils report at one foot minimum or six times the slab thickness. Continuous reinforcing bars turn down into the edge condition adjacent to finish grade or paving sized per plan.
