A reinforced concrete beam frames into a reinforced concrete column with a monolithic concrete slab and reinforcement sized per plan. Dowels with standard hooks per column schedule extend from the column into the slab with a two-inch maximum clearance to the top of the dowel and a two-inch clearance at the beam bottom. Beam stirrups and reinforcement are detailed per beam elevation and plan. A one-half-inch maximum overpour of the column into the slab is specified, and column reinforcement laps conform to the schedule.
