A half-inch thick knife plate centered on an embedded steel plate connects a Kebony screen to a concrete planter wall. The embed plate measures one-half inch by zero feet four inches and is secured with two half-inch diameter welded headed studs. Number five reinforcing dowels measuring four feet zero inches with hooked ends reinforce the wall at each stud. Five-sixteenths inch fillet welds join the knife plate to the embed plate. Embeds are specified at the end of each Kebony panel and located at a maximum of five feet zero inches on center.
