A steel angle diagonal brace connects to a supporting L6x3x3/16 angle oriented long leg vertical and spanning a minimum of four low flutes of the metal roof deck. The diagonal brace is attached with a three-sixteenths inch fillet weld on three sides. The metal roof deck is fastened through each low flute using two number twelve self-tapping metal screws with lock washers.
