Supplementary rebar placement occurs around panel openings and penetrations. Diagonal number five bars extend two feet past each corner on both faces. Vertical and horizontal reinforcement utilizes number five bars spaced at twelve inches on center in staggered inner and outer layers. Openings narrower than five feet feature number four closed hoops spaced at six inches on center extending one foot beyond the opening on each face. Additional reinforcement includes two number five bars on each face at bent plate ledgers, one number five bar on each face at ledger angles, and two number five bars on each face around openings.
