A wide flange steel beam connects to a wide flange column using structural steel angles bolted to the top and bottom flanges. Two rows of bolts secure the horizontal legs of the angles to the top and bottom beam flanges, while matching bolts secure the vertical legs to the column flanges. The configuration allows for moment or rigid connection transfer across the column centerline.
