Cold-formed steel framing connections feature heavy-duty and reinforced header assemblies tied into vertical jamb studs using a header clip and self-tapping sheet metal screws. The header track section connects to the heavy-duty header using number 8 sheet metal screws at twelve inches on center on each side. Additional number 10 sheet metal screws secure each stud and each leg at cripple framing locations. Clip angles attach to the jamb and header members using screws specified per the engineering schedule.
