The concrete slab-on-grade incorporates a two-inch or less depression detail spanning a two-foot width, supported by compacted subgrade and subbase gravel layers. Deeper depressions exceeding two inches feature a maximum one-foot-six-inch vertical drop with a two-foot transition zone reinforced by typical slab reinforcement and continuous number four nosing bars at the depression.
