Continuous standard horizontal bridging consists of an L-1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 1/4 angle section spanning between structural steel framing members. The diagonal bridging members intersect and are secured with a bolt at the intersection point. Connection plates measuring one-quarter inch thick are provided typically at the beam web and flange junctions to anchor the bridging members.
