Narrow and wide concrete curb configurations cast on top of a structural concrete slab over metal deck. Detail A features a narrow curb between four and eight inches wide reinforced with a number four continuous bar at the top, a number four continuous bar at mid-height, and number four adhesive anchors at twelve inches on center with a three-inch minimum embedment. Detail B features a wide curb eight inches or greater in width reinforced with number four continuous bars on each face at the top and mid-height. Both details feature a keyway or intentionally roughened surface at the cold joint between the curb and the supporting slab.
