A six-inch Schedule 40 steel pipe with a 6.625-inch outer diameter and 0.280-inch wall thickness stands at a height of four feet and is filled with concrete. The pipe is welded to a three-quarter-inch round base plate secured to the structural floor slab using anchor bolts. The interior of the pipe is filled solid with concrete.
