A reinforced concrete grade beam sits below finish grade with dimensions and depth sized per schedule. Two number four dowels spaced at sixteen inches on center embed one foot eight inches into the grade beam. Stirrups are sized per schedule with number five bars placed each face for depths greater than thirty inches. Width and depth dimensions as well as dowel extensions into adjacent footings are referenced to the structural schedule and plan.
