An HSS column supports a structural steel beam and roof deck, framed with a half-inch cap plate and three-eighths-inch connection plates secured by four three-quarter-inch diameter bolts at a three-and-a-half-inch gage. Cold-formed steel studs at sixteen inches on center carry metal panels per architectural drawings, tied back with continuous bent plates and slide clip connections designed by the cold-formed steel specialist. A roof joist with a bottom chord extension and stabilizer plate bears on the structural steel framing at the designated top of steel elevation.
