A concrete curb rises from a slab on grade, reinforced with vertical number four bars spaced at eighteen inches on center on each face and two continuous number four horizontal bars at the top. The curb has a width ranging from eight inches minimum to sixteen inches maximum, and a height extending twelve inches maximum or as required per the architect. Vertical dowels extend downward into a thickened slab on grade as required.
