Two continuous number five reinforcing bars run longitudinally within the upper region of the grade beam while number four bars extend into the slab at twelve inches on center. Additional internal and perimeter reinforcing is sized per the grade beam schedule. The concrete slab features standard slab reinforcement across the top of the monolithic pour.
