This connection utilizes a pair of clip angles bolted to the web of a beam and the web of a supporting beam girder. The assembly features a three-bolt pattern on each leg of the clip angles. The connection is dimensioned with a three and one-half inch typical spacing from the edge of the clip angle to the beam web, and maintains the standard angle common gauge for the bolt holes. The beam web is positioned between the two clip angles, which are then fastened to the supporting beam girder web.
