A skin bracing angle is welded with three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds to a three-eighths-inch by sixteen-inch square plate mounted beneath a concrete-filled metal deck. The square plate is secured by four five-eighths-inch diameter by four-and-a-half-inch embedment bolts or expansion anchors with double nuts, adjusted in location to align with the bottom flute of the steel deck. A one-quarter-inch by five-inch square plate sits between the angle and the main plate with additional three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds.
