A double-row bolted framing connection joins a wide-flange beam and a wide-flange column web. A shear plate is welded to the column web with specified weld sizes tw1 and tw2, while the beam web is bolted to the shear plate using a double vertical row of fasteners with a typical three-inch spacing. Stabilizer plates matching the shear plate thickness are welded horizontally to the column flanges above and below the connection. Dimensions are provided for bolt lines, edge distances, and AISC K1 clearance requirements.
