A structural steel beam frames into a concrete tilt-up wall panel featuring a beam pocket and bearing plate. The steel beam passes through a designed beam pocket in the concrete tilt-up panel, which is grouted solid after the beam has been installed. Two number five continuous reinforcing bars are provided at the beam bearing top and bottom. An 18-inch by 3/4-inch plate with two 3/4-inch diameter by 8-inch heavy stud anchors at 10-inch gauge is provided at the panel joint, along with a 9-inch by 3/4-inch plate with one 3/4-inch diameter by 8-inch heavy stud anchor at each panel with complete joint penetration welds. The bearing plate connection is left unwelded to the girder as indicated by the note. A concrete slab over metal floor deck bears adjacent to the framing.
