A CoreBrace buckling-restrained brace connects to a steel column and beam frame via a slotted gusset plate at the work point. Stiffener plates are installed on the near side and far side of the beam and column flanges as required by the manufacturer. Typical continuity plates are provided at the beam flanges. The steel column and beam sizes are sized per plan.
