A cast-in-place concrete wall bears on a continuous concrete footing with horizontal and vertical reinforcing steel. Vertical wall reinforcement laps with dowels extending from the footing, sized per plan and schedule. A concrete slab on grade abuts the interior face of the concrete wall above the footing. The concrete footing rests on compacted subgrade.
