A cold joint is formed in the concrete fill between a first pour and a second pour over a metal deck. Number 4 reinforcing bars spaced at twelve inches on center run along the cold joint with a Class B lap splice. The form is removed and the joint is roughened before proceeding with the second pour. Concrete fill and reinforcement along with the metal deck are sized per schedule.
