A continuous L 4 x 4 x 5/16 by 5 feet long structural steel angle anchors a trash enclosure gate to a precast concrete wall. The angle is secured with 1/2-inch diameter headed studs spaced at 16 inches on center. A 6-inch stud and a 4-inch stud are detailed at 16 inches on center into the precast panel. The gate and hinge assembly are installed per architectural specifications and the gate manufacturer requirements. The vertical wall element embeds into a concrete footing below.
