A rectangular cast-in-place concrete section features sixteen number eleven vertical reinforcing bars arranged within the perimeter. Transverse reinforcement consists of number five ties and hairpins spaced at five inches on center typical. Clear cover is three-quarters of an inch typical on the sides and four and one-half inches typical on the bottom face. The exterior cast downface is indicated with a reference line.
