A 14-gauge metal Z-closure forms the vertical step down in a composite concrete fill and metal deck floor assembly. Continuous number 4 reinforcing bars run along the top and bottom of the step, supplemented by number 4 bars spaced at 12 inches on center. The assembly bears on a WT fill beam sized per plan beneath the metal deck and concrete fill. Dimensions and level markers coordinate the floor slab elevations across the step.
