A bolted end plate connection utilizes three-quarter-inch diameter A325 slip-critical bolts and a three-quarter-inch end plate welded to the beam web. A matching plate is required unless the supporting beam web thickness exceeds one-half inch. Typical edge distances and spacing dimensions are provided for positioning the connection relative to the beam centerline.
