The assembly features a concrete slab on grade placed over an ASTM E 1745 Class C vapor barrier and a four-inch layer of crushed rock. Steel reinforcing is centered within the slab thickness per structural plans. Below the sub-base layer, an eighteen-inch depth of non-expansive soil fill is placed over native ground as specified in the soils report.
