This assembly features a new two-by-six blocking member secured to an existing wide flange beam with one-quarter-inch diameter by five-inch self-drilling screws spaced at nine inches on center. A new two-by shaped ledger is fastened to the blocking, supporting a new LTP4 connector spaced at eighteen inches on center. The assembly includes new two-by blocking and a new metal stud infill wall above the ledger, with half-inch plywood sheathing over the roof framing. An existing nine-by-twelve and three-quarter-inch ceiling beam is supported by a new HU MAX hanger attached to the wide flange beam.
