A concrete tilt-up wall panel bears on a concrete footing with a 1-1/2-inch layer of non-shrink grout beneath the panel. An exterior slab on grade connects via a pourback strip containing #4 reinforcing bars spaced at 18 inches on center each way. A horizontal #4 reinforcing bar spans the full opening width within the slab edge, tied with #4 dowels measuring 3 feet 6 inches long at 18 inches on center.
