Single tube buckling restrained braces frame into a wide flange beam at a typical chevron brace connection. The bracing members connect to gusset plates welded to the beam flange, aligning at a designated work point as indicated on the plan and elevation drawings. Gusset plates and bolted connections transfer lateral loads from the seismic brace system into the horizontal framing member.
