A wood post bears directly on a concrete slab and connects via a Simpson ABU 46 post base. The post base bracket attaches to the wood post using through-bolts and secures to the concrete slab with a 5/8-inch diameter Hilti Kwik Bolt TZ anchor embedded 4 inches into the concrete.
