A typical screen wall support beam frames into a hollow structural section column utilizing typical erection aid angles as required. A one-half-inch closure plate closes the gap at the top flange connection. All-around and fillet welds of one-quarter-inch size secure the framing members to the column support. The connection details standard structural steel assembly practices for hollow structural section framing.
