A continuous angle measuring 6 inches by 4 inches by 5/16 inches in A36 steel serves as the sub-purlin and is secured to the concrete panel using 7/8-inch diameter anchor bolts spaced at 18 inches on center in standard holes with welded stud options. Quarter-inch plates are positioned at 4-foot intervals on center at panel joints. A splice plate measuring 4 inches by 3/4 inch by 1 foot 8 inches connects across the wall panel joint using four 7/8-inch diameter anchor bolts in 2-inch horizontal slotted holes on each side of the joint. The splice plate is welded with a 1/4-inch fillet weld on three sides. Joists are omitted from the view for clarity, and a ledger splice occurs at the wall panel.
