A hollow structural section column connects to the structural steel bottom chord using an L203x102 angle section welded to the chord. An L76x76x7.9 angle profile is incorporated into the connection assembly. Dimensional clearances of 50 millimeters and a 100 millimeter offset are specified for the joint configuration.
