Security door elevations detail the installation of an electrified lockset, biometric fingerprint and iris readers, and door contacts connected via concealed raceways and electrical conduit. All raceways are concealed within the wall with a 3/4-inch electrical metallic tubing conduit running to a junction box located on the secure side of the opening. A 1-1/4-inch conduit routes to the nearest accessible security approved pathway or home-run to the wall field. Biometric readers mount to 4-square boxes with single-gang mud rings at specified heights, utilizing Cat6 cable connected to the nearest security virtual local area network unless otherwise noted. Doors and hardware are provided by others with lock wires routed through the door to the lock.
