A structural concrete panel opening is reinforced with two number five bars placed continuously around the perimeter typically unless noted otherwise. Diagonal corner bars consisting of one number five by four feet long are placed at each face at all four corners extending two feet typically from the opening edges. A continuous number five bar runs horizontally below the opening near the finished floor line. Additional two number five bars are detailed along the bottom of the panel below the opening.
