A 4x6 wood blocking is fitted between truss purlins and connected to a steel truss girder using 1/4-inch by 4-inch by 7-inch steel plates placed on each side. The connection is secured with two 3/4-inch diameter through-bolts spaced at a 4-inch gauge. Nailing is specified with two rows at toenail spacing, expanding to four lines where toenailing is staggered and six lines where three lines of nailing are required. A 1/4-inch fillet weld size is indicated with spacing and dimensional offsets.
