A structural steel beam supports a metal deck and concrete slab near a building grid line and exterior wall. A diagonal kicker angle is connected with a continuous angle and fillet welds, with studs attached for gravity connection. A continuous angle (L6x4x3/8) runs along the assembly, and structural steel angles (L3x3x1/4) are provided at each kicker. Clearances and gaps are detailed adjacent to the wall condition.
