A sub-purlin is anchored to a precast concrete wall panel using seven-eighths-inch diameter anchor bolts installed at two feet on center in standard holes with welded stud options. A continuous angle and a five-sixteenths-inch thick Grade 50 bent plate connect the four-by-six rafter to the concrete panel, with two seven-eighths-inch diameter anchor bolts and continuous number four reinforcing bars embedded in the concrete. Additional framing includes an eighteen-gauge by two-inch wide galvanized continuous strap on top of the sheathing, fastened with power-driven fasteners and two pins within the nailing zone of the hanger. The splice plate measures three-quarters by four inches by one foot six inches, secured by quarter-inch plates at each of the four sides.
