A 600S162-54 cold-formed steel stud anchors to a 5-inch minimum concrete slab-on-grade using Simpson RCKW5.5S connectors spaced at 4 feet on center maximum. Each RCKW connector secures to the concrete with two 1/2-inch diameter Titen HD anchors with 3 1/4-inch embedment and attaches to the stud with ten #12 sheet metal screws. The stud seats in a continuous XXXT150-54 bottom track, fastened to the stud flanges with #10 sheet metal screws on each side. The assembly supports a 200-pound lateral load applied at the top of the 3-foot 6-inch maximum height stud. Installation and inspection of the RCKW connectors must comply with ICC ESR-4294.
