An offset beam connection detail shows a carried steel beam framing into a supporting WT shape, either a WT5x22.5 or WT7x26.5 cut to fit per plan, using a single plate shear tab connection sized per schedule. The connection specifies standard holes with no slotted holes permitted. Fillet welds of one-quarter inch are specified on two or three sides as detailed with typical applications. The top of steel and top of beam elevations vary as detailed per plan for both carried beam higher and carried beam lower conditions.
