A thirty-inch diameter cast-in-place concrete tension pile connects to a pile cap. The assembly features vertical reinforcing bars and perimeter spiral reinforcement sized per schedule, maintaining a three-inch clear cover. Mechanical bar terminators are provided where development length extends through the pile cap, coordinating with shear lugs, anchor bolts, and embed plates. Two extra turns of spiral reinforcement are included at the top and bottom of the reinforcing cage. The pile embedment length and top of alluvium elevation are verified by the owner's geotechnical testing agency in accordance with specification section 31 63 29.
