This structural detail shows a one-inch depression in a concrete-filled metal deck supported by a structural steel beam. The assembly incorporates custom bent plates welded with quarter-inch fillet welds and ledger support plates at each side of the support. Reinforcing steel within the depressed slab matches the size and spacing of the adjacent slab.
