An HSS or wide-flange structural steel column is anchored through a rectangular uplift plate with dimensions and anchor bolt quantities sized per schedule. The plate features symmetric edge clearances and equal spacing designations for the anchor locations on each side of the member. Dimensions L and W define the overall plate boundary, while Lu and Wu specify the internal layout limits.
