A pipe or conduit penetration passes through a concrete grade beam. Reinforcing is provided per schedule with additional closed ties placed on each side of the penetration typically. Prohibited penetration zones are marked where no openings are permitted. Sleeves are coordinated with mechanical, plumbing, or electrical drawings.
